Podcasting is more than just following a set of instructions. It is a system of loosely joined people and organizations who use the tools of modern computers and digital recording to share their ideas and sounds. Since it is a new system, there is lots of stuff that has not been formalized.
Listen to some podcasts by other people. Figure out what you like and what you don't, then change the way you podcast. Invite others to listen to yours by doing some promotion recordings, then send them out.
